Flávia Milhorance is a freelance writer and photographer based in Rio de Janeiro. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, the Guardian, National Geographic, and other media outlets in Brazil and elsewhere. She holds a master’s degree in financial journalism from a joint program between the University of Aarhus in Denmark and City, University of London, UK.
