Jack Thompson is a freelance journalist based in Dakar, Senegal. Originally from the U.K., his interest in writing about the complex world of food stemmed from his family’s background as farmers. One day he hopes to return to the family business, harnessing his experiences of learning about food and farming from all over the world.
