Dimuthu Attanayake is an independent journalist and a researcher from Sri Lanka. Her work focuses on business, tech, social issues, and the environment. Her work appears in Foreign Policy, the Guardian, the South China Morning Post, Deutsche Welle, and Thomson Reuters Foundation news, among others. She is a Pulitzer Center grantee, and was one of the 12 journalists shortlisted for Thomson Foundation's Young Journalist Award in 2018. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of London.
