Mehboob Jeelani was the Asia Editor at Rest of World based in New Delhi, India. He has more than a decade of experience working as a reporter and editor in India, the U.S., and Turkey, covering politics, culture, and technology. He led TRT World’s digital newsroom, overseeing coverage of global politics, economics, and technology. Previously, Mehboob worked as a reporter at Fortune magazine in New York and spent several years as a staff writer at The Caravan magazine in New Delhi. Mehboob graduated with a masters in journalism and politics from the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University in New York.
