Michael Zelenko is an executive editor of Rest of World. He has 15 years of journalistic experience in leading editorial teams to produce ambitious, award-winning reporting marked by rigorous investigations and immersive, narrative-driven features. Before coming to Rest of World, he was the executive editor and co-founder of the tech and science publication OneZero. Prior to that, he was the senior feature editor of The Verge, where he also reported stories. Michael holds a bachelor's degree in English language and literature from University of California, Santa Cruz.
